All parents who have children enrolled at St. Paul are automatically members of our Parent-Teacher League (PTL). Our PTL is also a member of the National Lutheran Parent-Teacher League. St. Paul Lutheran’s PTL conducts meetings and events throughout the school year except during Advent and Lent. The PTL’s goals are to better acquaint parents with St. Paul and to promote faith-based relationships between students, parents, teachers, and staff. In addition, the PTL assists our school financially to meet some of its monetary needs. Each family is assessed an annual fee of $70 to help fund the various PTL functions and projects, including classroom field trips, supplies and more. Each family also is assessed $10 per child to cover classroom parties and teacher gifts. Parent-Teacher League Objectives ● To be of service to the home, and offer help and guidance for Christian parents. ● To promote the interest of Christian education throughout the St. Paul Lutheran Congregation through the Christian Board of Education. ● To encourage closer relationships between home and the school so that parents and teachers may cooperate more effectively in the teachings of Christ Jesus. 2008-09 St. Paul Lutheran PTL Alison LaValley, President Jo Lynn O’Connell, First Vice-President Debbie Durovic, Second Vice-President Olga Moody, Secretary Lisa Idak, Member-at-Large Anne Schroeder, Member-at-Large Jen Broeker, Faculty Representative |
