Mission Trips 2008 2008 Mexico Mission Ciudad Juarez, Mexico (August 2-9). For the fifth year in a row God has called us to be a blessing to the people of Juarez. Working through Ysletat Mission for Christ we seek to build a house (or church), distribute shoes to children, conduct a Vacation Bible School and possibly provide another dental clinic. In the past we have worked in the Anapra & Kilometre 20 areas of Juarez.
2008 Guatemala Mission Guatemala City & Amatitlan, Guatemala (July 11-19). Once again we had the opportunity to help give physical sight to those who cannot afford eyeglasses. We conducted eyeglass clinics on behalf of the Lutheran Church of Guatemala. In addition we added a dental clinic component to this mission trip.
2008 Alaska Mission Chistochina, Alaska (June 20-28). We hosted a Vacation Bible School / Day Camp Ministry among the Athabaskan Native Alaskans. This was our fourth mission trip to that tiny population where the hope of the Gospel so desperately needs to be shared. We work through Alaska Mission for Christ. Workcamp at Mattoon, Illinois (June 22-28). For a seventh year in a row, both junior and senior high students had the the opportunity to help low-income families rehab & repair their homes. This is a truly wondrous experience that encourages personal, spiritual growth among the participants even as we are working hard to help these families. Mission Trips 2007
