January 2010

Wow!  It is 2010 already and the Junior Girl Scouts are keeping busy.  Cookie sales are in full swing so if you are craving Thin Mints, Samoas, Do-Si-Dos, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Lemon Cremes, Dulce De Leche, and the newest cookie member is Thank U Berry Much, just let any Girl Scout know and they should be able to fill your order.

Junior Troop #20667 is also actively engaged in earning their Bronze Award by helping St. Paul "Go Green".  We are currently working on gaining permission to put a composting pile in the school. We had to learn all about Red Worms.  We also will be making key chains for the Breast Cancer Association, putting together sock balls for the PE Department, and collecting supplies as well as cookies for the Troops Over Seas!

Other fun activities we are looking forward too is our cooking and eating meetings, planning Thinking Sunday, camping with a Cadette Troop and having our own Girl Scout Day right here in St. Paul for all of the younger girls.  Not to mention that we are going to start preparing our Bridging Ceremony, we want to be Cadettes!!

If you have any questions, concerns, or words of wisdom, please contact me through my email address.

Thank You,
Antonette Lamberty
