Each week students will be given 2-5 spelling words. With each list there are several * words, which students should be able to rhyme words that go with the base family. Every Friday there spelling test will consist of there original spelling words and 4-5 rhyming words. Students will also be given 2 bonus challenge words one will be a harder rhyming word and the other bonus word will go with a certain subject we are studying. After Christmas the spelling test will also include a sentence using words off of the word wall. Every 6 weeks students will not have new spelling words but words will be reviewed from the word wall with a review spelling test on Friday. At the end of the year we will review the words on the word wall.
