Holy

Communion

The Lord's Supper is celebrated at St Paul with the joyful confidence that we receive the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the bread and wine. Jesus shares Himself with us in Holy Communion for the forgiveness of all our sins and for the strengthening of our faith. To this Table He lovingly invites those who genuinely repent of their sins, who trust in Him as their Savior, who recognize His real presence in this sacrament, who desire to serve Him, and who have been instructed in the Christian faith.

God's Word states (in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29) that it is important to prepare for Holy Communion prior to receiving it. We therefore warmly encourage anyone who is not yet instructed in the Christian faith, who has misgivings, or holds to a confession that differs from ours to speak with the pastor or an usher before coming forward to receive the Sacrament.

God bless you as you partake of this wondrous and blessed Sacrament!

Non-alcoholic wine is available in the center of the
individual cup tray for those who can't have wine.
